designer purse cakes
One of the things I love about making cakes is all the random but interesting research I get to do to get the details just right. These designer purses are always a great time to make. I sometimes get a bit lost in the details (like spending half an hour making a zipper pull just right), but I have a good time doing it, and as always, it's worth the effort for the fantastic reaction!! :D

Finally posting more pics....It's been pretty busy lately but i will be making more of an effort to get more pics up regularly (don't hold me to that...). enjoy! :)I can't say I'm a huge Ed Hardy fan (or rather one at all) but I do really enjoy the purse cakes. The detail on them is really fun and what I love to do most (detailed work). The birthday girl loved the her purse (she had the real thing) but was not so keen on the skull, so we decided to omit it on the cake
